WORDS TO MAKE YOU LAUGH..

Yes, Dear Readers, as I caused HER to choke on HER eggs.. the least I can do is share it with YOU.

As YOU know from the previous post 'The Eighth of May ..' today is the TWENTY FIFTH Anniversary of Darling Dagga-the-Parrot coming to live here, it is MY role today to make sure SHE is happy.

And whilst WE were in YumYum HQ, it came to ME.. all MY different voices saying one word!

The word was "hello". Oh dear, for a nano-second I thought SHE was going to cry. Not the desired effect at all. I AM so stupid some times, very tactless but no, oh, thank goodness, water did not appear in HER eyes, SHE choked, then started to laugh.

"HELLO" was one of D-the-P's favourite words! WE have previously written about HIM making HER jump out of HER skin the first time HE said it in HIS perfect imitation of Leslie Phillips's voice.

Another time was when they were travelling to
stay with friends in Norfolk, HE was in HIS BIG cage and fooling about as 'AGP' do when WE are happy. AGP stands for African Grey Parrots.

YOU were not there so YOU will have to 'see' the following scene.. they were in the outer lane at a set of very slow traffic lights.

Beside them in the inner lane were two policemen
in their squad car, the passenger asleep. Dagga obviously thought "what, asleep on duty" and proceeded to start HIS entire repertoire of "hello's" as loudly as possible.. this is pretty loud, to say the least!

The police driver looked around to see where this
demented 'person' was. Taking pity on the copper, British slang for a policeman, SHE put HER window down and said "look behind me", he did and started to laugh, this woke the passenger up and as they pulled away from the lights.. the police car was still there.. literally shaking with laughter!

Ah.. that's much better.. SHE is smiling now and will remember other such happy occasions.. such as HIS escape from being a third class passenger. No, that is for another Post. SHE must do the housework.

And I will find a place to doze, I think front door
pole is place for ME.

GeeGee Parrot.
May 8th, 2013.. aka.. Dagga Parrot Day.
