Good morning to YOU all.
Sorry to report that today is beyond gloomy and that more housework will be done, there will be no swanning about outside in sunny sunshine today.
WE were slightly cheered to learn that France is also experiencing 'tricky' weather, not that WE wish them ill weather in the slightest but it would be extremely unkind if Sun was prancing about in Normandy or Brittany whilst, just across The Channel (or La Manche if YOU are French), WE are still gardening in waxed jackets and boots!
Did YOU realise that SHE has a family (of sorts) in France?
Yes, there is elder brother, sister in law, who will never be 'ex' because what does that make their son? Sebastien, HER nephew, will be 40 this year in June! And very 'strange' woman who has lived with elder brother for over thirty years.
The last time SHE saw eb, elder brother, was at Constance's funeral. YOU 'could' say "they are not close", it would be an understatement.
Strange woman did not come with eb.. why was SHE surprised? Strange woman had never before demonstrated that she even knew how to spell the words manners or respect.
Onto more cheerful matters, for Lookie-Lookie..
Two Black Beans have germinated and sprouted!
SHE realises it is actually only 5 days ago SHE planted them and so cannot classify them as being delinquent Beans.
SHE knows what was causing problems with the clothes washing machine, pump was dying for it has now died, poor pump, but better than the motor or the fan belt going, they are much more expensive to replace.
SHE has to call engineer, not the sort of job to do YOURSELF and Wizard has disappeared. SHE wanted a lot of strong shelves put up in the store cupboard and more in bedroom.. he said he would give HER a quote for the work and that he could do it the next week.
That was last year.. before Christmas! There has been not one word from Wizard but his papa is ill in Australia, he is probably there for his mobile does not ring.
This Post's title, I know it sounded just like the title of a novel by Angela Brazil or Enid Blyton, but I am nosey, YOU all know this.
Beaky sneaked a peek at Stats and on day 20 out of 31, they are above the precious record by 300!
"ROAR".. as Puff The Magic Dragon would say, YOU know him, he lives by the sea. ME.. I live in deepest Knightsbridge but am still impressed. So is SHE!
