GRASS CUT, TOMATOES & PEAS IN BUT SHE'S GOT A VERY POOR, SORE PAW..

NO gardening for HER tomorrow.. for the past two days SHE worked there all day and yes, the place is shaping up very nicely, with most of the beds full to the brim with seedlings and or plants.

However, there is now a problem! SHE already had a 'slightly' sore first finger on HER right hand from yesterday but oh dear, the silly woman went and used a grass trimmer for an hour and a half this morning and now the finger is 'in a right mess' to put it mildly!

Even a light weight trimmer is quite heavy and this finger, is of course, the trigger finger but the main problem is, I think, that SHE may have a very norty Rose thorn in it.

They are poisonous so SHE will have to sterilise a needle and dig it out, no, WE are not squeamish in this household.

But there is lots of 'stuff' to do at home, very long awaiting to be done, I might add!! SHE would much rather work at the garden than at home, especially on a sunny day, 71 degrees today!

Now they say WE are in for some rain.. good, that will cheer old Asparagus up no end! From saying it was too cold.. it is now saying "we would like some rain please", YOU can't win, can YOU?

But SHE may, because SHE has found marvellous bags made out of garden fleece, they have a clever drawstring and they went over all the Currant bushes which have LOTS of fruit coming, now fat Mister Rock Dove or Collar Dove will not be able to get at the fruit.

As WE have an early start tomorrow WE are having a early night, it is bed time for us Dear Readers, YOU are probably just about to go out! Or are at work but SHE is tired, ninety minutes of that grass cutting is NOT for the faint hearted or weak muscled.. especially is YOUR paw is sore!

GeeGee Parrot.
