YES.. MY Dear Readers, it was not rain SHE had to contend with today.. it was an act of aggravated burglary.. and SHE is mighty angry and very cross about it too.
Apparently a large white Transit van with four men drove onto the plot in the very early hours of this morning.. they cut through the bolt on the main gate and jurst helped themselves to as much as they wanted.
Her shed was not the only one broken into.. there are 120 plots and over three quarters of them have sheds of some description.
The thieves ignored gardening tools, from OUR little shed they took screw drivers, chisels, hammers, a small Zephyr Generator, a flask of Beer SHE had got for the autumn BBQ and they were unable to resist the new little strimmer..
And that full tank of gas that SHE bought last Wednesday.
So.. SHE put another padlock on and mended poor little shed door as best SHE could with NO tools..
SHE is going to have to reinforce the back and side of little shed and put a proper lock in.. the only sheds that were not touched were those that had proper old fashioned keys.. SHE has an old Banham lock SHE will use but first has to make door and frame much stronger.
WHERE IS THAT WIZARD?
SHE is late home and WE need to be fed.. SHE has only eaten one tiny carrot and an apple since SHE left the house this morning and bad temper and empty tummies are NOT a good mix!
I will be back tomorrow afternoon / early evening, SHE is leaving early as has to meet with the 'Boys in Blue' .. they will do same as two years ago.. a lot of fuss and nothing else..
All the plot holders know that their tools were all sold for little money today at some Car Boot Sale by these wretched men.. this is what they do.. stealing is their profession.

I can't think of anything that leaves a more violated feeling than burglary. It doesn't happen everyday, but I'm always happy to see these awful people get a jai sentence.
ReplyDeleteSince the Government opened the gates to every Tom Dick and Harry who squealed that they were being mal-treated in their home land and allowed them access into the UK.. we have had an escalating problem with people wanting something for nothing.. they want our freedom of speech, they want our secure streets, they want our FREE National Health Service, our free schooling for their children.. etc etc.. and and they steal.. everything.
Delete
