Good evening to YOU all.. this is going to be short but sweet, I hope!
SHE has arranged for a friend to come tomorrow with HER to B&Q to pick up supplies that they will use to strengthen poor little shed.
They are going to extend one end of it, make another wall as it were but door and side supports are going into concrete and there will be a double thickness door, SHE has an old Banham lock that they showed how it went together.. not YOUR average easy thing!
The only sheds that were NOT broken into were ones with key locks not padlocks.
So today SHE tidied, cleaned, threw away damaged stuff, found those wretched men have walked off with ALL HER kitchen knives, three saucepans, a big steamer, the top of HER most favourite dish.. ggrrr. And HER step ladder.. how is supposed to get up trees without that?
And sad result of this is wretched, boring nonsence is that SHE is no longer going to stay in NYC in November.. cannot spend two lots of money.. NYC will always be there.. Little shed has to be repaired.
It is, YOU see, HER 'cottage' in the country! Sometimes, if weather is good, WE leave house at six of the clock and are there by seven of the clock with the whole day ahead of us.. happy days.. it doesn't get dark until late in summer so WE have fourteen hours in fresh air. Bliss.
But early start tomorrow.. so early to bed, SHE is smelling of chilli.. I know where SHE has been, after seeing lovely her GP at five of the clock, SHE went to eat Pizza at PIZZA@HOME on Old Brompton Road and had a Margerita.. with anchovies, capers and oregano, a tin of San Pellegerino Limonade and a glass of water.. jurst what SHE needed after scrub-a-dub-dubbing all afternoon at the shed.
So everything is cool.. well, it is not as SHE has now to find another ladder with which to get HER up the fruit trees to do pruning next year.. what boring evil, horrid men they are.
But that was then and now Dean and SHE will make it ok again.
Off for cuddles and then early to bed..
Oh.. the 'Boys in Blue' never showed.. sad that.
