Yes, Dear Readers, tomorrow SHE is not going to garden but WE are going into the gardens infront of our house and SHE is taking a picnic for US!
SHE says a picnic is food to go outside with so there will be cold roast chicken legs, SHE eats the meat I eat the bones.. 'WE' are very cheap to feed if someone would like to adopt us.. joke.. please note..
Then some sort of salad, plus beans in vinagrette sauce, I LURVE
them done like that! And potato salad that SHE has jurst done, some fruity-tooty, water for ME, dry ginger ale with fresh mint and lots of ice for HER, it is delicious.. especially if minty has flowers on the tips.
I will go in my long travelling cage without the bottom so I can play with the grass.. SHE will take a rug, I will be in the shade and SHE will lie in the sunny bit and WE will be a happy couple enjoying fresh air and seeing different things.
But soon I will be able to go back to the garden, it is getting slightly cooler, although SHE said it was 'bakingly' hot today, mind YOU, SHE was on HER hands and knees weeding underneath the little baby apple trees.
And, hopefully, Mr. Wizard will be with us to put up the extra wire fencing between the football fields and the terrace! It will stop the footballs coming over and stop anyone climbing over the fence! Especially if they make the top bit a bit wobbly AND train nasty Mister Briar along the top.. no one in their right mind would try and come over that..
Weather forecast is fine for a few more days and then rain.. yippee.. all the Daffodil and Narcissus bulbs can go in plus an amazing assortment of Tulips.. yes yes, 'Parrots' are going in as well.
Tomorrow is the final day of the ParaLympics.. what amazing things have been achieved.. jurst amaaazing. What courage, determination and fortitude has been shown and by so many people.
I hope that the competitors enjoyed it as much as WE did watching them? Really fabulous tales to tell children and grandchildren.. to be able to say to them..
"Yes, I won GOLD at London 2012".. " well done everyone, bravo".
