Oh dear. Head for the hills folks for she's gained 1.5lbs, oh dear, she's now 10 stone exactly, 140lbs, and having been UNDER ten stone, she 'ain't happy', the worst is knowing that nobody force-fed her orange cake or frozen chocolate cake.. sigh.
Moving swiftly along. Pat, the wonderful Beanie maker, is back! The medics have no idea what bug she caught but poor she was on two different antibiotics and a strong pain killer, poor Pat. But, she's looking very trim and, lucky Pat, has hit her first target and now gets to come to group free of charge! Now, that's an incentive, if ever there was one!
Weekly sheets were tucked into her pack, for writing down everything down you put into your mouth makes you aware of what you're eating on a daily basis and, if you then have a stellar week and lose a 'decent' amount, the most she's lost in one week was 4lbs, you have an idea of what your daily meals consisted of during that week and can continue to do more of the same.. hopefully!
She does know that over the past two weeks she didn't drink enough water, so she's put a big glass beside the sinks and plans to drink a full glass of water every time she goes into the kitchen and the bathroom.. every time.
So please don't wave chocolates at her.. she's glad she gave Angela the last chocolate salami which was lurking in chilly-white larder.. aka fridge.
Walking, water, speedy vegetables.. aka brocolli, celery, skinny beans, samphire. With lots of protein and some citrus fruit! It's a good thing she loves these kinds of food, isn't it? And so do I.. Plus my hummus, please don't forget my hummus, mum.
