NO LIBRARY BOOKS IN STOCK ON MUSSOLINI & HIS BLACK SHIRTS!

It is a good thing the days are 'longer', is it not? For there are many places that she has to go and stuff to do in the next three days.

Tomorrow she has a dental appointment, which will replace her missing filling, then she has a six month regular check-up appointment in the mid afternoon.. boring, for that means we won't be Singing with Dementia, after that but before six of the afternoon clock, she has to pick up a package from cousin Bruce.

Early Saturday morning she has to meet with an audiologist to see if her new hearing aids are working ok, then meet Debbie Goat at Nottinghill Farmer's Market at lunch time. They were going to meet for dumplings at the market at Marylebone but she has been asked to join a party of friends and go down by a river boat to Greenwich on Sunday.

Let's hope the weather stays as it was this afternoon! Sunny.. warm.. NO evil wind blowing!

On Mussolini.. it was reallyreally strange.. she went today to get a book out of the library about the Italian Fascist dictator and found.. nothing! Even the head librarian found that pretty weird, so when she has finished the lot she borrowed today, he said that they'll do a search on the book list and see if Central, up in Hornton Street, have any books on him.

She did not finish her work yesterday, it has to be done now, then there is ironing to do and a cover to put back onto the chair.. chores. Nothing exciting to report..

However, she's 'alarmed' by a story about a young Australian woman who has pretended to have brain cancer, she wrote a cook book as a cancer survivor and how she coped with it and her treatment.

WHY anyone would go to such lengths to con friends, both her real and cyber-virtual ones, is beyond her.. let's hope she does not get it in real life for a lot of these friends are angry indeed at being told now that she has never had it and the next time she cries "wolf wolf", I wonder if they'll rally. Sad, isn't it?

But we have much to be cheered about.. I can fly, she can walk, we have food to eat and clean water to drink and a safe place to sleep tonight. Think upon your life and reflect on good stuff.. on friends.. on happiness.. on health, how you can improve it.. on kindness and love.

GeeGee Parrot.
