Dear Reader.. are you a man or ladies, do you have a grown up man in your life? Do they use NIVEA for MEN SHAVING ~ SENSITIVE FOAM? SENSITIVE!! Grrrrr.
Why do I ask? Well, she found a can of this whilst she was clearing out a cupboard.. she looked at the ingredients label and saw the following.. Aqua (Water), TEA-Sterate, Laureth-23. The order in which they are listed gives the highest concentation first.. so this TEA-Sterate is just behind aqua.. which is water.
TEA stands for Triethanolamine and it ain't good for you guys or gals.. it is seriously not a nice thing! And just think of this scenario.. you wet your face with hot water, your pores open, you squish this nice foam into your warmed hands, you put it onto your facial skin and then razor your skin with a sharp blade.. and maybe you 'razor nick' your skin!
She is angry.. too bloody right she is angry.. Skin cancer is on the up and up, Bone Marrow cancer the same. How dare these wretched companies put these filthy chemicals into everyday products. We think if we avoid certain foods, don't drink too much alcohol and excercise that we'll be ok, oh really?
In Boots yesterday, she looked at a product that Susan had asked her to get.. Cussons PURE Shower Cream Moisturing with Shea Butter & Honey.. how delicious, she thought, until she checked the ingredients.. Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate.. how much of this chemical is in this body shampoo?
She's especially angry as next week she is taking Susan to St. Thomas's Hospital for a Bone Marrow test. She's angry folks.. she's reallyreally angry. Susan has been feeling unusually tired, is bruising easily and as she was a highly qualified Teaching Sister and a GP's wife, she realised that "all is not well in the State of Denmark".. which coincidently where she's from.. yes, our much beloved Susan is a 'great' Dane.
And she is incredibly grateful to her lovely friend Raja, an Professor of MicroBiology here in London who alerted her to these poisons. Please, please check the labels on your tins and packets, please don't use these harmful chemicals. You look left or right before you cross a road, so take the time to read the label before you buy / use a product.
Back to bed for a cuddle with a mug of LapySang, it's mighty cold out there.. there is a bright blue sky, with not a cloud in sight! It was freezing when she got home last night but all was well inside the flat. She had seen the weather forecast and as I have removed my thermal down, she turned the heating on again.
There is an artic front moving down.. this will bring strong chilly-billy winds and low temperatures.. please leave pretty Cherry blossom on our trees. Asparagus is ok, he's snug as a bug in the soil but poor blossom is very vulnerable. Thank goodness the green army are still at home, they're a bit leggy but at least Jack Frost won't be able to bite them!

Are you aware that the two biggest industries in the world are Armaments and Drugs. They pay a LOT of tax these companies and employ a lot of people, in fact, there are a huge amount of people who would be incredibly and very seriously 'annoyed' (to put it politely) if a cure for cancer WAS found.. do you 'see' or are you following my line of thought?
