Well folks, it's as dreary here as an old, cold hot potato, if you can envisage such a thing!
We get up at about ten in the morning and she makes the one buttered egg, she divides it and I eat most of mine and she somehow manages to eat her bit. Talk about loosing her appetite.. where did it go? She not drinking tea or coffee either but mugs of hot water with ginger with fresh lemon juice.
Then she does whatever it is that humans do in bathrooms and comes back into the bedroom. Collects the three small 'hotties' from the bed and boils the kettle to refill them. By this time, she is slowing down again, she is tired and we go back to bed. I clamber up on top of her head and we both settle down for a doze.
This pretty much continues throughout the day, she rustles something for me at about one of the afternoon clock and at about six of the evening clock, we both eat something, the hotties get refilled and she is back into bed.
She watched three programmes on a channel called Yesterday last night. As she was born soon after the end of WW2, the subject of what and why was not taught to her at school.
The first programme was about the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party, the second about the period in Germany leading up to the invasion of Poland and the beginning of WW2 and the last programme was called Annihilation. They were simply dreadful but necessary to watch and to learn why.
Mans' inhumanity to man and still, it continues.
