FREEZING WATER IN HER VEINS.

This ain't funny anylonger! But at least she has the formula right for which pain killers to use. Our lovely, really helpful local Pharmacist took her Aspirin away, apparently they were seriously out of date and gave her something to help her sleep at night and a pain killer for the daytime.

But she is, oh, so cold, she describes that it is like having freezing water in her veins! But we are counteracting this with three baby hot-water botles, one for feet, one for tummy and one tucked into her back, as she spends most of the day on her side.

She went to see her GP yesterday about the head scan, he took one look at her and said "Oh dear, you look as if you have a nasty bout of Flu, back to bed with you".

But it is very discomblobulating to have her here and in bed and so quiet, the radio is on as reading makes her eyes hurt and she is dozing. I am keeping her head warm by sitting on it.. well, you do have to try to comfort loved ones, don't you?

The hospital's booking service had not been updated yesterday, so having entered her name and passcode, they now have to come back with an appointment for the scan.

That's all there is to report. Not a lot but it'll get better, stay happy and healthy out there.
