Because whatever YOU want to look at does not slide past YOU on a moving display!
Dear Readers.. YOU have to walk to go and look at 'it' and then walk onto the next thing.. up and down flights of stairs.. today the twisty stairs at The Tower of London with LOTS of other people were not so much 'fun' but SHE got down ok.
London is very, very busy, there are thousands of visitors of all different nationalities young and old, the coffee shops are busy and the museums are absolutely full to the brim!
It really seems as if the world, his wife and their three children are all here, amazing!
The last big place they plan to visit is Hampton Court Palace, SHE will take another picnic. The long range weather forecast is good, it has to be for Hampton as there is that long walk from the station!
And it is a great pity if YOU do not go out to look at the gardens, which have been taken back in time to their original planting designs in the different areas.
And, of course, there is the famous Maze!
At home, SHE is working hard on sourcing stuff for the plots, SHE is half way through designing a
Solar House, SHE has sourced and priced the timber, now has to make up which sort of glazing
would be best.
SHE is taking out two large beds which grow a
mix of flowers and vegetables and changing them
over to growing all vegetables. This will be made into four raised beds but much higher than normal, about two feet high.
Being made higher will enable HER to fill them with a lighter soil, this will be very beneficial for carrots and parsnips.
But that is for another day.. now WE are heading off to Noddy's Land.. it is bed time for us dollies.. SHE is tired and tomorrow is surely another day.
Funny ( peculiar) yesterday, for on Sunday WE
had a huge amount of Dear Readers.. yesterday.. barely a handful! WE find it strange when that happens..
