WE only got as far as the North End Road which is where WE change buses.. and suddenly, it was very cold.. SHE looked down and all MY feathers were up.. for a very chilly-billy wind was blowing.
So WE went to the market, very quickly quickly, SHE bought fruit from lovely Kaza, meat from Dickinsons, then ran for the bus to bring us home.
Oh, it is so dreadfully dreary when the weather is like this. Cloudy, dull and chilly-billy, not at all like yesterday! I do so hope that that one fine day was not our summer! If it was, it was pretty dingy and short.
Anyway, I got to go on a jaunt, saw some friends and came home with swag, yes, one of MY friends who LURVES ME, gave ME some spicy sausages that he makes, SHE grills them for ME, they are truly very scrummydumptious.
SHE also got food for tomorrow, I know that SHE is going to go to Kensington Palace and plans to take a picnic.. ME.. I am staying here but if it is fine on Friday, WE are all going to the plot as Leigh and Ossie have invited US for supper and SHE is hoping that there will be lots of Asparagus to pick.
Fingers crossed folks.. Now.. to get HER to heat up that grill, I could Beak a sausage or two, with perhaps a slice of cucumber.. slurp-the-durp.
Off to YumYum HQ, I must flap.
