As YOU do.. a kind supplier called to say that he had just what is needed at home and on the plot.
SHE will get the Goaty Milk for our Ricotta next Sunday at the Farmer's Market which is just past Parson's Green. I, of course, will grumble for I do love Ricotta but SHE will give one of 'those' looks and tell ME tales of poor African Grey Parrots who live in Central Africa who NEVER get to eat Ricotta.. sigh.. grumble.. under breath..
What a Chilly-Billy day! SHE was so very glad to have worn a wool coat with a funnel neck but a pair of gloves would have been happy making, but alas and alack they were sitting in a drawer at home and not in the bottom of the handbag.
Home to a very late lunch of dandelion leaves, sorrel, lovage, oregano, melissa, chives, wild garlic leaves and a smidgen of radicchio with fusilli pasta with olive oil, chilli flakes and black pepper. WE love this dish!
Now SHE is off to pot up some seeds and I am heading for bathroom door, so to have MY 'bird's eye viewing of these proceedings. WE hope that YOU too have been 'gainfully' employed today? Or are YOU jurst having a very lazzzy day?
UGH.. On the local radio, they have just given us a 'FROST' warning, apparently temperatures are due to plummet tonight. As our last Frost date at the garden is June 9th.. it will be at least SIX weeks before WE put our very precious Tommie plants out there!
Flap flap.. off WE go.
