Dear Readers, good day to YOU all.
WE know 'they' are right! For SHE was out and about in it.. ooh, it was cold and it didn't get any warmer, freezing last night, three hot water bottles, heat pad and ME on HER head kept it all at bay.. but the storm raged on..
And this morning, not a trace of it to be seen. Only a pale grey sky.
Anyway, enough of grey skies and freezing snow, what news have WE for YOU? Well.. actually, not a great deal, I am afraid.
HER hair looks beautiful! The reason SHE battled the elements yesterday, was to go to HER hairdressers SMILE on the Kings Road, Chris is wonderful and yesterday she out did herself.
Meanwhile, back home home on the ranch as it were..
The Red, White and Black Currants are still bare rooted in buckets, as are several Roses.. do YOU know 'Joro'? Such a beautiful Rose.
Broad Beans are showing five out of twenty shoots.. that is not going to keep old wolf from the door, is it? Garlics are growing. French Beans are still faarst asleep, not a glimmer of a shoot. YOU can't write about a garden if it is not able to be gardened, can YOU?
And, there will be no planting out this weekend, for ZERO degrees centigrade is forecasted with more snow. So cold, so dreary. Grim.
Today's plan is as follows, after a snack'et in YumYum HQ, SHE's off to the Library and then to North End Road Market to purchase edibubbles, I will snooze on bedroom door.
But SHE does have something to say and that is..
Please would Mr. Quintin Jardine write faster!
Oh, SUCH GREAT BOOKS! YOU don't know this author? Well, go immediately, if not sooner and look him up and get hold of ANY of his books.
He writes three series, the Bob Skinner series, the Oz Blackstone series and the Primavera Blackstone series.. SHE has just finished the latest Bob Skinner novel that Quintin Jardine wrote.. don't YOU hate that.. now SHE has to wait to find out who it was that was shot..
Was it his wife or the female cop? Only Mr. Jardine knows..
GeeGee Parrot.

A true Brit, your missy thriving on mysteries. Did you know we have the BBC mystery series on Public Television? We liked Inspector Morse, but he died rather suddenly. But now, we sometimes have Inspector Lewis...who is almost as good. Have to get ahold of this Quintin Jardine.
