"Please Sir.. can I have some more?"

No, Dear Readers, SHE is not reading Dickens.. SHE would like to have some more rain!

There was a very, very light sprinkle of a shower yesterday afternoon and pavement was wet when SHE went to buy eggs this morning but top soil at garden is as dry as an ole bone.. so cannot plant any seeds for late Salad crop...

But garden has been transformed by sixteen hours of hard work!  Now SHE has to do terrace where briar and bramble think they are going to take up residence.. heehee.. I have bad news for them.. it is called Flame Gun!

Any Blackberry which has grown and who was lazy and did not bother to bear fruit is getting chop.. "off with their heads"..  lots of famous literary quotes today folks!  That came from Mr. Lewis Carrol's famous book.. WHICH ONE?

The sky has not yet decided to say whether it will be a cloudy or a sunny day today.. so SHE is packing waterproofs and leaving ME again.. boring but gardeners have to garden, work has to be done, earth has to be ready to put in seedling potatoes for autumn and winter.. nothing better than HOME GROWN BABY Potatoes in winter with butter and freshly picked Chives or Mint.

Ground has been cleared from underneath every fruit tree and currant bush, this was hard work as SHE has planted over fifty, yes, fifty fruit trees of many different fruits and has lots of White and Red Gooseberry also multiple Black, Red and White Currant bushes

But, I know SHE will be home earlier though because Tuesday is one of the two day SHE goes to visit lubbly-jubbly Fishmonger.. so, yes folks, squidly-diddly for supper on RED rice.. scrummydumptious..

"Hey Ho, Hey Ho, it's off to work WE go".. wake up all of YOU.. who sang that?

GeeGee Parrot.
