Good evening to YOU all. I hope that wherever YOU are today, that
YOUR day has been pleasant.
MY day was very quiet.. after breaking our fast with buttered eggs with bread for ME and toast and Nutella for HER, it was " be a good gurl sweetie-pie" and gardener went off to garden..
And many hours later SHE arrived home smelling suspiciously of Chili with a happy look on HER face.. I know SHE has been to best Pizza in town, jurst out side the Old Brompton Road entrance of The Earls Court Exhibition Centre.. 'PIZZA@HOME..
But I got shock of life for SHE opened HER mouth and HER tongue was BLUE'ISH BLACK!! YOU know why, don't YOU? SHE has been scrumping Black Berries & Currants! HUH.. so much for picking to fill freezer pots!
I am not allowed to eat these unless I am in cage.. I wonder why not? SHE says it has something to do with their colour and our pale carpet!
SHE cut back nettles and most of grass, SHE will leave Blackberries bushes until fruit is picked, with there being no cherries, pears or plums this year SHE will have to freeze more soft fruit for our winter puddings.
Tomorrow, SHE will finish cutting down grass, do hand work on beds underneath fruit trees and vegetable beds. Monday, SHE will rake everything together and arrange for it to be taken to our local green recycling dump, who will shred it.
Tuesday, is Lavender harvesting Day, SHE has over twenty big bushes which need to be picked and then trimmed into shape... lots to do this time of year.
So it is going to be a very early night for HER.. grass trimmer weighs 7.5 kilos and SHE worked with it from 12 o'clock through until 5 o'clock.. long and tiring day..
It is a bit boring when SHE is gone for most of day.. but I snooze and eat and dream..gardens have to be gardened, that's is all there is to say! And "good night" from US both.
