SNAP AND FACEBOOK.. IT DIDN'T HAVE A HAPPY EVERAFTER ENDING.

If you are a regular Dear Reader of my blog you'll know that we write about a lot of things, some may bore the knickers off you but some you might find interesting.

You'll know that she reads newspapers and magazines, both on line and in the actual form of hard or crinkly paper ones.

You'll also know that one thing that drives her potty, even more than she is already, is FaceBook.

With its' constant bombardment onto your page for requests to befriend complete strangers whom she'll never meet. Or the loathsome thing when people 'poke' you.

She hates being poked in real life and when some idiot.. whom she dislikes because of the persons' cruelty towards her frail elder sister.. 'poked' her on FB more than six years ago, she thought 'how extraordinarily childish' and tried to remove it but guess what, that stupid poke is still there, because although it is her home page.. FB control it.

She visits it rarely but some of her real life friends are very active on it and everyone is different, if that is what makes them happy.. so be it.

But the behaviour of FB leaves a lot to be desired, they are not the only guilty ones, other tech companies are guilty of practices that are not exactly as pure as driven snow.

I suggest you read one of the leading articles in the Guardian (UK) newspaper today.

That's your lot for this morning, she has to go to get those photos off the sd card and send the disc to her brother.

It's a damp dismal day but guess what? It's Winter and we, up here in the northern hemisphere, need this rain and snow in order for our plants to give us tasty yumyum in Summer and Autumn.

But, we are nearly at the end of January which means, theoretically, that Spring should roll into town in about four and a bit weeks. Won't that be nice!

Now off you go about your business, I'll doze whilst she's out and about, poor old dear, she'll have to wear many layers of clothing again for it's very cold as well as wet. Ugh.

GeeGee Parrot.
