Rosamund Zeigert in Australia gets the Reddy!
(For new Dear Readers who have not yet read all my posts let me explain. A Reddy is one of my tail feathers, a worthy prize indeed, for they are not given away for nothing).
Now don't all moan and groan and mutter "I knew that and would have posted a comment if I had known a Reddy was on offer" under your breath, for Rosamund DID not know a Reddy was on offer but put her fingers to the keyboard!
She emailed us last night and gave us the name of the show, where the song came from, whose music was so glorious and memorable.
And today is going to be another beautiful day and "the corn is as high as an elephant's eye". (Another line from the same tune in the show)! Huh.. Our Sweet Corn isn't even planted yet!
But 'work of the day' has to be done before she goes to cut the grass, which grows as fast as it possibly can at this time of year!
"ChopChop-HullyHully" Hugo would say.. "you've places to go and things to do!" She, also, has to get her brain into gear and speak French!
