A TALE OF DISAPPEARING PEAS.

21.3.14 is what she wrote on the labels together with Oregon Snow Peas, the boxes were put on the ledge near the radiator at the same time as the boxes of Broad and French Beans and boxes of another variety of Pea.

Who were thrilled to be released from their dried shells and raced to see who could be the tallest in the shortest time.

As for the Oregon Peas, there was not a trace of growth, how strange, she thought, all the other Peas have grown, why are this lot not doing so?

So yesterday, she took them into the kitchen and started the hunt for the Peas.

Well, we did have to laugh, oh, like two hyenas we laughed, for it turned out there was not ONE Pea in either of the boxes!

She had done a huge amount of planting that day and she must have done the sticks, made the seeds boxes, put on the propagator lids and put them on the ledge but forgot to plant the Oregons!

They were done properly yesterday, it is a good thing there has only been a delay of three weeks in getting these babies started (again!), isn't it?

Otherwise, we would be into May with no Oregon Snow Peas growing! She is very partial to them, steamed or tossed into a quick stir-fry, me?

I never been known to eat one! It is true, for never has a raw one ever been offered to me, she fears that I would become addicted, huh, a chance would be a fine thing, they are like those Golden Raspberries that I 'hear' about.

But I have just been offered some LapySang. Such a delicious tea. The perfect way to start the day, a bright sunny day.

Now off we go to enjoy it. PipPip Dear Readers.
