YOU would not be doing the Fandango or reading strange Tales from an African Grey Parrot, oh, it makes MY tail quiver at such a dreadful thought.
So listen up all YOU travellers to Texas and Dallas in particular..

Is the place to stay! Yes sirree.. to find the house, SHE entered airbnb dallas 75229 and up came a picture of The French House.. which is mighty pretty! The owners speak several languages fluently.. Stephane, their son, lives in Moscow and has been to stay with US.. as, of course, have his parents..
So there YOU have it.. hot news from old Beaky.. the perfect and most convenient B&B in Dallas, close to both Love Field and DFW, these are airports for people who are unfamiliar with Dallas.
And eureeka.. it is another dry day.
But not for those poor people in Somerset, it flooded there before Christmas and the water has not gone away.. the damage is and will be horrendous to both properties and land, forget winter wheat, brassicas or even thinking of planting any crops.
And I am not sure what OUR Government is planning to do, if anything. They are, it seems, too busy with 'other things' whilst back in their own back yard there is a very serious disaster.
There are two things that have greatly aggravated the situation,
The shameful and short sighted mismanagement of waterways and there is an EU policy which does not allow for trees to be planted on what is designated Agricultural land, hence there are no tree roots to open up the land to allow the water to escape.
But it is now time for ME to say pippip.. for SHE has to go to get stuff for Little Dove.
