SHE FELT BRILLIANT YESTERDAY.. BUT TODAY IS A DIFFERENT KETTLE OF FISH!

This is really strange Dear Readers, as the title of the post says, yesterday she was as happy as three larks, she and old Wheelie Wicker trotted allover London and what a joy it was to be out in the sunshine.

The 'weird' stuff started this morning at about eight of the morning clock, she began to feel as if someone had poured iced water into her veins, it was most odd.

Nope, she didn't feel sick, had no headache but she was freezing cold and to touch she was icy, she put her hand on her face and jumped, it was that cold!

How bizarre. She put on thick leggings, a sweater, pulled another quilt onto the bed, got in, tucked the quilt around her but she still felt cold!

Enough of this, she thought, it's time for bowls of chicken soup! She took out two frozen chicken stock cubes, put a litre of water onto boil, put in the stock cubes, some broken vermicelli, chilli flakes, spinach, finely chopped up broccoli, cauliflower and ginger and filled a couple of full sized hot water bottles.

Who knows what caused her temperature to plummet? But it was not 98.6, that's for sure! And yet outside, it was a sunny and warm day.

After making and drink /eating the soup it has taken over four hours for her to begin to feel 'normal', it's first time this has ever happened, did she picked up a mini virus on yesterday's jaunt?

Who knows, but it is mighty peculiar to have her at home in bed on a sunny day, when she would normally be out molesting weeds at the garden.

But we both scored, the weeds and I, they got left alone and I had her at home with me, mind you, I didn't sit on her head when she was freezing, that's for sure!

Tomorrow is a Bank Holiday, I hope she will feel better because I know that there will be lots of asparagus to pick, you know, I am mighty partial to those delicious green spears.

More soup needed. FlapFlap.. Dear Readers.. FlapFlap.
