Lilies of the Valley....

Good day to YOU Dear Reader.

Are YOU all fit, happy, full of vim and vigour? I do hope so. Grizzly start to day here, I mean outside, not inside, for our cosy snug abode is dry and toasty warm for Mr. Boiler is awake, doing his job, heating radiators and making water hot.

Going to see t'other Debbie today.. yes INDEEDY.. SHE is going with ole trusty Wicker Trolley down to Farmers Market at Parsons Green to collect delicious Goaty milk. No sign of Mr. Woe.. what a relief as he is such a dismal person and makes home all gloomy and glum. He appears when there is no Goaty milk in house but SHE has worked out how to have enough Goaty milk in fridge or freezer for time between Ellie's Goaty Dairy visits to London.

SHE is on hunt for Lilies of the Valley. SHE saw some on a barrow off The King's Road last night, man wanted £9.00 a pot.. SHE laughed and walked on.. there are some growing at garden, but they will not be unfurling those elegant leaves and showing their pretty little bell shaped faces for a couple of weeks.. too cold, so SHE may go on jaunt by bus to the BIG Flower Market south of river and see if SHE can find some, SHE wants them in pots, then after they have flowered SHE will put them out into garden. SHE started with a few rhizomes, they naturalised and spread. Such pretty little flowers, such delicious perfume.

Or, SHE may go on major jaunt to Catford.. CATFORD, I hear YOU cry, where's that? Well, it is south of River Thames, go to Dulwich and keep going.. past St.Dunstans, on road to Lewisham, long way but once there, there is Phoebe's.. which is a WONDERFUL place for everything to do with gardens.

This is where SHE found Espaliered Cherry trees which look so pretty at garden, they have very large selection of plants and trees and they are very nice folk to deal with.

But today is what WE are dealing with, so SHE has to get up and get act into gear, taking Nigel to meet Debbie, Nigel has been staying for few days and leaves tomorrow to go back home to Canada, it is he that has Budgie and Cockatiel whom I hope will tell Tales of what life is like in Western Canada.

WE hope YOU enjoy your Sunday, not rest day for our Dear Readers in Saudi Arabia, they have a different schedule to week.. so PipPip to all wherever YOU may be.

SHE may find pots of Lilies of the Valley at Farmers Market, YOU never know.

GeeGee Parrot.
