Yes, indeedy!! SHE picked the first Broad / Fava beanie-o of the season! And a few more Pea pods and some very young delicious Lettuce and Rocket leaves, some Mizuna and eureeka.. SHE even found a few tiny LandCress leaves!
Hurry scurry to Mister Fish.. just in time for a handful of BIG fat Prawns.. aka Shrimp in America.. and then to get some fresh Egg Noodley-Doodles..
Home.. wrote post about yesterday whilst the fish stock was heating up.. SHE was going to flash boil the Prawns but WHO was this?
Lonng ago, last October, SHE planted lots and lots of Onion sets.. these are minute Onions.. now some of them are breaking their necks and telling HER "it is time to pick us, please". Oh.. heavens to Betsy.. have YOU ever had an onion just out of the ground.. they're so sweet, with long green leaves, these people would not dream of making your eyes water!
Pan on.. olive oil in, garlic whacked and chopped, onion sliced and chopped, the leaves went in as well.. sauted for a litle bit, then in went the fresh egg noodles.. prawns went into the boiling stock.. together with the handful of tiny Broad / Fava Beans.
I'm salivating on Nespresso machine for I LURVE beans and prawns and am crazy-dazy about noodles. Plate out.. food onto plate.. some food waved about in the air.. no burning of the beak..
Perfection.. one happy parrot and one happy HER.. WE will be back tomorrow.. burp. Sorry about that but I am guilty of eating too fast.. had to, YOU never know, SHE might have pinched MY share!
