Because' armed with the information she gave him this morning - bless his heart, he came down into reception and they talked through it all for half an hour - he sent a very carefully worded letter to her landlord and the Company Secretary of the limited company who are the Freeholders.
And basically, he told them.. their nasty little secret had been uncovered and that he and the council were alarmed that their surveyor had given them, the council, 'incorrect information on the ownership of the house'.
Yubba-Dubba-Doo!
Gloves on.. Seconds out of the ring, that's fighting talk ladies and gentlemen.. now they know we know that they were up to naughty tricks and it was very silly of them to be stupid because, of course, now, the council are on high alert and putting all manner of legal stuff into place to protect her.
Anyway, that was her excitement for the day, she's tired, living on your nerves ain't good for anyone and when it concerns your home and a landlord whose acknowledged to be extremely difficult and economical with the truth - as written in an email to the Director of RB of K&C in July 2006 by the head of Environmental Health - it means you don't fully relax until after the fat lady has sung.
So.. what else is going on? Not a lot.. she's out on the town tomorrow night, she'll put me to bed and then she slipping into a dress, no less, and going out! Voting at 09.30hrs, hair appointment with Anita at 11.00hrs. Library, home, eat lunch, press dress, steam wrap, shine shoes and bag, rest for a bit (she is old, one forgets this), bathe, dress, do make up (!!) kiss Beaky and leave house at 20.45hrs.
That's your lot tonight.. we're already in bed, we have had pork loin chops for supper with salad and mushroom, I had smelly hummus as well, delicious. We had the most delicious curd filled omelette for this morning, great way to break that evil 12 hour fast, I can tell you! It is so scrummy.
Good night one and all.. have fun, I hope that you're having a more summery Summer than we are? It ain't up to scratch, that's for sure!
