She cannot remember a storm like it! We sleep with a blind down and interlined curtains drawn but she was still woken up at 02.30hrs today by the lightening which lit up our bedroom! She padded off down to open the front door and was met by a sheet of water and then thunder and more lightening.
Grim night, it was very close and muggy and the storm rumbled around for several hours. Ugh.. she got very little sleep and we're lucky, we are safe in the base of the house, what it must have been like where les filles are up at the top! Well, she knows, Tereza said it was really scary!
Voting done, hair coloured and cut, not at L'Oreal but by Anita and to exactly the same colour number and method. Razor sharp cut! Everything ready.. she'll have to brush her hair 'cos I was / am lpathetic and whinged about her being in bed having a nap-pet and me not being allowed to sit on her head, you can tell I'm spoilt.. as if you didn't already know!
So, there we are folks.. flooding and some trouble at a couple of the votung ploos.. with people saying they hadn't been regustered to vote. Why hadn't they checked? Stupid..
Hey.. finally America has woken up to their gun problem! There's a sit-in in progress and a good thing too. She was appalled by the Senates vote NOT to change the gun law.. more on this tomorrow. Now we are turning the light out and having a doze before she has to be ready for collection at 20.45hrs.
PipPip.. we'll know the result of the referendum tomorrow evening, I guess.. are we staying with Europe or leaving? Who knows, we don't.. YET.
