KISSES ON THE BOTTOM!!

Dear Reader... Greetings!

WE are very pleased to report that SHE has been to see HER new medical team and they are very "up to speed" and on the ball! I would not like to be the medical staff at the last hospital that WAS supposed to be taking care of HER, new Consultant verbally tore strip off old MicroBiologist and is writing to lodge a complaint against the whole of the last team.

Nice new shiny Consultant was very kind and talked to HER for over thirty minutes. Leaving HER with faith that, finally, someone might be getting close to the answer.

Back to title of today's post...

SHE came back from the hospital visit via China Town, yes, Dear Reader, SHE snuck off and ate Chinese food all by herself! BIG treat to sit quietly and eat delicious yumyum with chilli.. then SHE caught ole 19 home, came into flat, and found ME waiting for HER in usual place.. top of bedroom door.

SHE put hand up, I stepped down and suddenly whoosh, I was upside down being kissed and nosed all over.. it is SO cheeky when SHE does this.. but I allowed it to happen as it means that OUR life is going to be happier, because between YOU, ME and front door, if Truth is to be told and Truth should always be told, well... it has been jurst a 'trifle' dismal.

SHE grabs ME.. YOU realise that this shows no respect for MY person... and fiddles about with chest, pokes nose under wing, gives kisses on bottom, then blows warm air on tummy!

I know why SHE does this, it is to see how MY feather regrowth is coming along! And I am very pleased to tell YOU that chest, leg and neck feathers have grown back. YOU will remember back in December that I plucked these feathers when awful drunk woman blew smoke at ME, ugh, SO glad WE won't ever see that person again!

In order to help with these new feathers, SHE is kind and helps by doing ole fiddle and scratch, I am able to get most of them out of the shaft but at side of head around ears, yes, of course I have ears, it is a bit difficult so SHE gives a hand by gently scratching the new feathers out of their casing.. I LURVE it when SHE scratches MY nape too... I put head down and try to make HER realise that dreaded Bad Bat Behaviour will not jump to the surface and play ole munch and nip with HER fingers... Then it is a little scratch here, a bigger scratch here and a scratch scratch there... bliss!

WE woke up this morning and saw bright light coming around blinds, SHE slid out of bed, drew curtains and wow, there was ole sun himself.. huh, he has not been around a lot recently, has he? He has been lolling about somewhere else and it certainly wasn't in OUR neck of wood but neither have WE had much rain, WE had a couple of mini showers last week but earth will be very dry at allotments, SHE will be spending several days there this week.

Not on Wednesday though, SHE has a ticket for two people to the BADA (British Antique Dealer's Association) Show at The Duke of Yorks on the Kings Road, SHE is going with BiBi dearest, they will have lunch, then go to Fair, I wonder how many of HER old clients will be showing there?

SHE has rejoined Film Club in Leicester Place, huh.. and I know what is going to happen, on cold dull days SHE will catch norty ole 19 to Shaftesbury Avenue, sidle into HER favourite Chinese for soup and barbecued pork + chilli, then saunter off to watch movies! In the middle of the day.. such behaviour!

WE have to say that SHE has been very touched by the concern shown to her by kind friends, some of who have taken time to send her a card, an email or to telephone HER, it is very sweet of them and YOU to wish HER well.

So WE hope that soon WE will be able to call, post and write to them and YOU Dear Reader to tell what new shiny Consultant has said. Fingers crossed for GOOD news please!

WE want to know how Ellie Goaty person got on at Fair at Epsom, she was there for two days with her delicious Goaty products and WE want to know how many Goaty children have been born?

Meanwhile back home on the ranch.. WE are having to ration our Goaty Milk intake as WE don't get to see Ellie unti Saturday... WE don't want ole Mr.Woe back in kitchen, no, WE don't.
