I am spreading.. Blog.. NOT MY waistline!

Dear Readers.. MY Blog is now being read in Poland! How about that.. huh.

I wonder who told them about MY Blog.. are they Polish? Or, are they a Dear Reader who has gone to Poland? I do wish that more of YOU would write in MY Comments Box, that is why it is there, especially for YOU to write comments in it!

Cockatiel Charly and Budgie Henri, who are Gurl birds, live on Vancouver Island with their Human family, WE want them to tell us what living in Western Canada is like.. and Jo's cat lives in Ottawa.. idle cat, not a word from him although his Human is a Follower of MY Blog, so cat has full access to Comments Box.

Mister Yowie Cat has not written recently but WE know why, he is obviously very busy learning new tricks with his new Humans, all Humans are a bit different so new tricks necessary. But WE do know why Little Miss has not written in MY Comments Box, she is too busy figuring out how to open door of cupboard where Debi-in-Sheffield keeps CatNip!

I wonder what there is that is like CatNip but for Parrots? Perhaps best NOT to know as Debi says CatNip makes Little Miss act in MOST peculiar fashion, imitates crazy cat by flinging herself up and down stairs and around house and then passes out and is oblivious to 'Claw', a neighbour's cat coming into house and eating her yumyum.. much more on 'Claw' in another Post.

YES, much best not to behave like that.. SHE says I am mad enough as it is.. especially when I have had SCRUMMYDUMPTIOUS yumyum, blood sugar whoooshes through veins, wind gets under Tail, I whizz about.. I talk non-stop.. yub-a-dub-a-doo.. Hahahaaaah! I can and do drive HER nuts sometimes.. especially if I can time it to coincide with telephone call or HER watching programme on that black skinny box.. Heheheeee.

But WE have not played either of MY most favourite games recently.. they are fun, SHE and I play Catch-the-Grape or Chase-the-Almond.. really must get HER to write note to HERSELF.. go to Market to get lubbly-jubbly Almonds and Grapes.. best, really best ones come from Turkish Food Centre.. HeeHee, wonder if I can get HER to go there tomorrow.. Saturday, oooh, fresh supplies of most delicious Humous AND Pink Stuff..

YOU should read earlier Posts in order to be proper 'Follower' status and be truly wroom vroom up-to-speed on all MY favourite things.

SHE brought Basil, Mimosa and Tommies inside, temperature outside dropping fast, WE are in for really cold snap. SHE put Orange trees into black plastic bags and covered seedlings with double layer of thin plastic to stop them being nipped by sneaky ole Jack, SHE would be very sad if he did something to them, SHE drained saucers so water will not freeze. It is that which would kill HER much beloved trees.

Now what's up? SHE is off to yumyum HQ aka kitchen.. I better go see that what SHE does concerns ME, YOU never know Dear Reader, SHE might try to sneak something out of fridge that I don't see and I cannot have that.. no, indeedy no, for instance, I know that there is new packet of Tortilla chips, HOT Chilli flavoured ones in yumyum HQ PLUS Duck breast.. oh, way to MY heart is direct.. straight through MY tumtum.

It is a Bank Holiday on Monday here in UK, so if YOU live here, I hope YOU will enjoy the three days.. to all other Dear Readers wherever YOU may be, enjoy yourselves. I hope to post over next few days but for now.. Good night.

WATCH OUT.... JACK'S ABOUT!

PIRATE LANGUAGE... Shivver MY timbers.. Mighty cold today..

That very norty man ole Jack Frost was out and about last night in deepest Knightsbridge, the top leaves of HER Basil plant were black and dead when SHE opened front door this morning.

SHE knew he was a'coming but thought it would be on Saturday night as yesterday afternoon was not too cold.. but he skated his sneaky way in ahead of time scattering his icy ice about and poor Basil got nipped. Poor Baby Basil.. How unkind of norty Jack.

Last Frost date at garden is June 9th.. SHE never plants out tender stuff until a couple of days after this date. After success last year of growing Tomatoes at home, SHE is going to do same this year, some on wall in half circular hanging baskets, tiny Tomatoes LURVED this as they were very snug and warm against brick wall and they got sun almost all day long.

The larger indeterminate varieties will go in very deep pots attached to railings.

Also being at home meant SHE had no worries of them being stolen - yes, sneaky thieves steal fruit and vegetables, or problem of watering, much easier to have them jurst outside front door.

So poor little nipped Basil and Tomato plants will come in at night, it would be very sad to lose those tommies, SHE will bring in little Madmoiselle Mimosa as well.

Nothing much is going on.. BiBi dearest has had one of her eyes done, all is well. which is extremely good news, she can see individual bricks in her garden wall.. how thrilling, rather like when SHE puts on HER hearing aids and hears sounds that normal folk hear all the time.. no wonder SHE leaves them off, a city IS a very noisy place!

I have jurst done very BAD thing, I gave Pegeen a munch.. on her first finger, I was full of BAD BAT Behaviour, she and Mary Lou have gone out and SHE has jurst given ME a lecture about MY singularly disgusting and very unfriendly action.. I am afraid it is because SHE and I live by ourselves and I get jealous.. poor Pegeen, I will have to apologise.

Barbara and Peg coming to stay on May 7th.. they are old friends.. will be mighty nice to see them again, to hear their news, since they were last here they have moved into a new, old house.. Barbara is a Follower of MY Blog.. and has been right from start last December.

Debbie of Ellie's Goat Dairy now has had lots and lots of baby Kiddly-Diddlies! SHE will see Debbie on Sunday to top up our Goaty Milk supply, SHE was sad to read that baby Gurl Goaty person has died. As Debbie wrote "it is always distressing when animal dies".. so very true.

Caroline in Exeter has seen The Queen, apparently Her Majesty was at Exeter University earlier this week for part of her Diamond Jubilee celebration.. WE think Queenie is amaaaazingly amazing! She is 86 years old.. yes, eighty six.. and that in itself is staggering, she is fit and has all her wits about her.

House clean and tidy so SHE has time to write MY Blog in middle of day, most unusual, normally SHE is very busy doing whatever it is that YOU humans do.

Mary Lou and Pegeen have just come back, Harrods was too full of tourists! So they brought their lunch home, SHE sent them to look at Food Halls, I hope they saw display on the wall? It is a marvellous exhibition of Sea Food packed onto ice!

I broke MY fast very late this morning, so I am quite happy dozing on GoosieHead in yumyum HQ, SHE is writing this whilst sitting on sink.. I know Dear Reader, strange place to chose to sit but HER feet are on stove and coffee machine is right next to HER together with Milk Whizzer. Fridge is beside HER, I eat MY yumyum on top of fridge, then SHE washes surface off.. very easy to keep this clean with HER beloved Sterilisation fluid..

But I am so sleepy.. also guilty about that evil munch. Must learn NOT to munch nice people.

Best wishes to YOU all whoever YOU may be.

HER FIRST DOG....

Dear Reader, I send YOU greetings.

Most of YOU have read all MY posts, so YOU know before I came to live with HER that SHE lived with Dagga-the-Parrot. SHE has had African Grey Parrots since 1988.

People ask HER if SHE had other animals in HER life and sometimes SHE talks about them, YOU have read about most of them but one 'animal' SHE has never mentioned because SHE had not thought of him for very, very long time, was the first one SHE ever had, a rather special dog.

YOU know SHE was born in, what was then called, Malaya, at time of the Communist Emergency. War time.. it was not long after the end of World War 2, toys were not so freely available, goodness knows cost of Janni, the beautiful doll that Jean HER Godmother bought HER. But one day Hugo brought back a charming toy for his youngest child. It was a 'walking dog', YOU never see them these days.

The dog stood on a small platform which was on small wheels and at the tail end was a hoop of metal, it encouraged children to walk because they felt secure holding onto the hoop as they went for a walk pushing their 'dog' along.

SHE adored this 'dog' and he had undoubtedly been much loved by many children before Hugo brought him home as one of his ears was nearly bald and Constance had to stitch back one of his shiny eyes..

There was at this time a real dog in the family, her name was Penny and she was a Roan Cocker Spaniel. HER brother was older and SHE spent many happy hours playing on the beach with Amah, Penny and HER dog.

Malaya became a very unsafe place for the family, Hugo was doing dangerous work and his name was found to be on a list of people wanted 'Dead or Alive' by the Communists. Children and wives were easy targets, so it was agreed that Constance, HER brother and SHE would go back to England.

They flew back in December 1953. Flying meant that what they were able to take with them was extremely limited. SHE was three and a half and by now, of course, SHW was walking.

It was bad enough leaving HER home, HER beach, HER very beloved Malayan Amah, Penny, HER father but SHE also had to leave HER dog..

Earlier today SHE went to get Goaty milk from Debbie who was at Farmer's Market and afterwards SHE went with HER house guest to eat a Pizza. The weather was atrocious.. rain and wind making sitting outside an impossibility, it was very snug inside the small restaurant, SHE might not have seen the couple walk by with their dog but for the owner opening the door for a customer taking out a Pizza..

But SHE did see them.. and suddenly decades disappeared and years fell away, SHE remembered his wiry coat and his rather stiff looking legs, for there, on a lead walking very proudly 'to heel' with his Mistress, was an elderly, now very rare breed of English Terrier, Airedale.

His name had been Mister Moka-Treakle.. and he was HER first dog.

Lilies of the Valley....

Good day to YOU Dear Reader.

Are YOU all fit, happy, full of vim and vigour? I do hope so. Grizzly start to day here, I mean outside, not inside, for our cosy snug abode is dry and toasty warm for Mr. Boiler is awake, doing his job, heating radiators and making water hot.

Going to see t'other Debbie today.. yes INDEEDY.. SHE is going with ole trusty Wicker Trolley down to Farmers Market at Parsons Green to collect delicious Goaty milk. No sign of Mr. Woe.. what a relief as he is such a dismal person and makes home all gloomy and glum. He appears when there is no Goaty milk in house but SHE has worked out how to have enough Goaty milk in fridge or freezer for time between Ellie's Goaty Dairy visits to London.

SHE is on hunt for Lilies of the Valley. SHE saw some on a barrow off The King's Road last night, man wanted £9.00 a pot.. SHE laughed and walked on.. there are some growing at garden, but they will not be unfurling those elegant leaves and showing their pretty little bell shaped faces for a couple of weeks.. too cold, so SHE may go on jaunt by bus to the BIG Flower Market south of river and see if SHE can find some, SHE wants them in pots, then after they have flowered SHE will put them out into garden. SHE started with a few rhizomes, they naturalised and spread. Such pretty little flowers, such delicious perfume.

Or, SHE may go on major jaunt to Catford.. CATFORD, I hear YOU cry, where's that? Well, it is south of River Thames, go to Dulwich and keep going.. past St.Dunstans, on road to Lewisham, long way but once there, there is Phoebe's.. which is a WONDERFUL place for everything to do with gardens.

This is where SHE found Espaliered Cherry trees which look so pretty at garden, they have very large selection of plants and trees and they are very nice folk to deal with.

But today is what WE are dealing with, so SHE has to get up and get act into gear, taking Nigel to meet Debbie, Nigel has been staying for few days and leaves tomorrow to go back home to Canada, it is he that has Budgie and Cockatiel whom I hope will tell Tales of what life is like in Western Canada.

WE hope YOU enjoy your Sunday, not rest day for our Dear Readers in Saudi Arabia, they have a different schedule to week.. so PipPip to all wherever YOU may be.

SHE may find pots of Lilies of the Valley at Farmers Market, YOU never know.

RISOTTO...

NO EXCUSE... SHE has, yet again, been off doing Human stuff, leaving early, coming home late, too late to concentrate properly on what I wanted to write on MY blog.. So this means that MY last post on MY Blog was last Sunday.. many apologies.. What can ONE do?

Moving swiftly along.. WE think WE may soon have new Dear Readers in Canada, family live on the West Coast in Victoria.. how lucky they are! Family consists of Human parents, son James, daughter Lilli, plus Avian people, a Budgie and a Cockatiel. This means, I hope, that WE will have Tales from Victoria, Canada.. mind YOU, I am still waiting for Mister Cat in Ottawa to pipe up with news.. If Mr.Yowie Cat can get his act together in Sheffield, a Canadian Cat should surely have a Tale to talk about.. maybe Cats hibernate in Ottawa in winter? Who can tell ME if they do?

Now... are YOU well? I was amazed to see that our Russian Readers have been very busy reading MY Blog.. every day Stats show Russia as being dark green! There have been days when there have been more Readers reading MY Blog in Russia than anywhere else! YOU know why this has happened, don't YOU.. they have realised that it makes them happy! And they have decided to spread MY Blog amongst their friends to make them happy too. Like in Saudi Arabia, WE know there is Ahmed, who showed MY Blog to his wife and whooosh, I have SIX Readers in Saudi Arabia.

Grim outside here.. Oooh yes, terrible winds blowing things up and over and rain.. lots of rain.. but apparently, THIS rain, is wrong rain.. only here would it be 'wrong type' of rain.. WHAT do these people mean, rain is rain and WE are mighty glad WE got it... saves worrying about our fruit bushes and trees...

SHE is practising a bit of frugality.. never a bad thing, as long as SHE does not expect ME to practise as well... NOPE, I eat Rye and Sunflower Bread and I don't and won't eat 'Mighty White' or whatever those bakers bake!

Back to subject.. sorry, thought of not having MY special yumyum makes for anxious moment.. so frugality in house.. SHE took amount of money from Bank and thought of menus for week.. off to market with ole Wicker Trolley running along beside HER, SHE bought eggs, fruit and vegetables and went to HER beloved Butcher for chicken carcasses. With herbs and seasoning and garlic.. into HUGE stock pot it went and on with gas.. soon most SCRUMMYDUMPTIOUS smell wafted through house, Oooh, proper cooking, making proper stock, some SHE had as soup, then meat off bones, into bowl, into store cupboard for Rice.. Don't know what SHE has planned..

Pan on stove, garlic and onions and mushrooms chopped, bacon pieces chopped, butter into pan, sweated garlic and onions, rice, then seasoning and herbs, in went mushrooms, glass of white wine, stock.. Oh, Heavens-to-Betsy, what is this! I have never seen HER cook this dish before.. what is it, it smells delicious.

Much stirring, more stock, tested rice, I, meanwhile, on best behaviour, this is certainly NOT time to behave like Bad Bat. No Sirree.. Best manners, the odd, very polite squeak to show MY interest.. must not slobber from Beak.. or appear to think this is MY food, but do hope that I may be allowed to taste morsel as it smells.. well, it smells like something I would jurst LURVE to eat!

Bowl out of cupboard, gas off, ladle into pan, ladle dolloped yumyum into bowl.. SHE turned out kitchen light, onto HER hand, off WE went.. good programme on TV about Burt Bacharach.. and settled onto bed, fork into bowl, SHE had taste, offered it to ME.. but what is it?

SCRUMMYDUMPTIOUS.. that is what it is, I stopped eating and looked at HER, I gave her 'The Look', it is one SHE knows I make when eating something extra good and by golly, this qualifies.. SHE smiled at ME, I said "wooooo" and SHE said "it is called Risotto and it came from Italy".

Oooh, I slept well last night with tummy full of delicious yumyum.. even name of dish sounds good... Risotto... clever folks those Italians.

LOVAGE... and other green leaves..

Dear Reader, it was a quiet day, Sunday.. WE broke our fast with delicious boiled egg and bread, fresh coffee for HER with SCRUMMYDUMPTIOUS Goaty milk heated and whizzed in whizzing machine, then back into bed to read newspapers and make telephone calls.

Sun still shining, off SHE went to garden to gather Bitter Herbs..

To find that somebody has been picking HER Asparagus.. oh dear, WE thought fruit and vegetable thieving had stopped, apparently not, but at least Little Shed not broken into and burgled again. Well, they will have nasty shock as SHE has plans to do something 'sneaky'.

I was having lovely doze at home on favourite perch, cosy, quiet, warm.. what was this I hear.. key in door! Back already, why? Then I realised.. norty rain raining hard. SHE has gardened at this place long enough to know when SHE sees those norty black clouds over trees, SHE has jurst fifteen minutes to close Little Shed, walk swiftly up path and onto road to bus stop before rain comes.

I think SHE slid under-the-ground, must have, to get back so quickly.. but what did SHE have in basket? I flapped way to top of kitchen door, small jump landed ME on kitchen swing.

SHE took down large saucepan, put baby potatoes and chunks of carrots into water, added pinch of salt, lit gas. Lifted bag out of basket.. took out pot of Humous! Oooh, WE have not had that recently.. mushrooms, a ripe Spiny-Apple and from another bag.. freshly picked leaves!

Wild Chicory, Chives, Fennel, Lemon Balm aka Melissa, Oregano, Mint, Radicchio, Red Chard, Rocket, Sorrel plus leaves and stems of lubbly-jubbly Lovage.

Egg sauce in bowl, roll leaves up, sliced thinly into bowl, Carrots and Potatoes cooked, strain and put into bowl.. chop Lovage stems on top.. I LURVE this dish.

With cold Duck breast for supper, cooked last night and left to soak in juices mixed with tablespoon of HER homemade Raspberry Vinegar.. oooooh, seriously good and tasty.

Very rare to find very fresh Lovage in shop.. YOU can grow it at home, in pot will do if YOU do not have a garden, jurst give it enough room to grow! Leaves taste slightly like Celery, although it is related to Carrot and Angelica.

Fresh young stalks make best potato salad.. YOU only have to plant it once, it is a hardy Perennial, has many uses, known in ancient times, very old Herb Lovage..

So, MY Sunday doze was short but very sweet.. SHE brought home fresh green leaves!

WHERE ARE THE ANSWERS?...

WELL? Where are they? WE came on line and went to look at comments box, expecting at least half a dozen answers.. to find.. nothing! Well, YOU are not trying very hard, are YOU,

So far, Ros, first off block, with correct answer that Dixon of Dock Green used to say "Evening All", then came a posting from Mr. Yowie Cat who knew that "Book 'em Dano" was said by Garrett to Dano, Hawaii 5-0, and BiBi gave HER verbal answers yesterday, except for who said "well, he would say that, wouldn't he?".

They met at The Stick & Bowl, a small Chinese, surprise surprise, restaurant in Kensington High Street which has been there forever, well, as long as BiBi and SHE can remember and they are like elephants those two with their memories of London.

Then they went, in the rain, up through Kensington Gardens to Kensington Palace to see new exhibitions... well, what a disappointment, building is beautiful, potential is / was enormous but lack of attention to detail through entire place is disgraceful.

BiBi wrote email last night to complain and SHE is sending HERS today. One of the main rooms is empty except for a strange cabinet, which has a miniature viewing, rather like a Kalidescope in it.. most odd. There are small displays of Blue and White porcelain, mostly Dutch, on ledges but with no detailed labels.. tragic, such a waste of great space.

This Palace comes under auspices of The Royal Palaces, all SHE says is "Thank Goodness, it is another team who are in charge of other 4 Royal Palaces: Hampton Court, Kew Palace, The Banqueting Room, which is all that remains of Whitehall Palace and last but certainly NOT least.. Tower of London.

Never mind.. WE won't dwell on their silliness but will swiftly move onto happier things like walking slowly through Whole Foods.. Oooh, I wish I could go there, as it sounds jurst up MY street.. three floors of delicious stuff.

SHE came home with small bottle of Blackcurrant Pulp in Vinegar.. WE will be able to make this as WE certainly have enough Blackberry bushes and will let Charles and Milli in on act as well, they have masses of soft fruit bushes.

They tasted Dried Black Fig from Calabria, must ask Caroline about this, she and Gustavo live in Calabria, region of southern Italy, BEST tomato sauce SHE makes is Calabrian, tomatoes, garlic, oil, salt, pepper and oregano, nothing else.

NO, adding onions would mean that it comes from another region.. read a real ITALIAN cookbook and get it right. Better still, go there and eat food made by people who know how it should be cooked..

Today for breakfast, I had soft boiled egg and a beakful of bread, SHE thinks I am sick when I don't gobble it down in vast quantities but no, I am quite happy, thank you.

After a sunny start it is now dismal, grey and wet.. ugh. SHE checked seedlings outside bathroom on window ledge, someone, WE rather think it might be small Mr. Snail, has nibbled leaves off a Bean plant.. hope he has no plans to go back.. as SHE sprinkled very fine salt on top of pots and YOU know what salt does to Mr. Snail..

Everyone else looks happy, good that they experiencing cold and wet weather, then they won't be shocked when SHE plants them into big beds at garden. More vegetable seeds are germinating in seed tray on top of radiator, WE eat well in our home.

WE also have delicious 'smelly' flowers, outside front door there is Apricot Rose jurst about to bloom, what an exquisite flower and growing through Fig in barrel at top of stairs, there is Scarlet Rose, cannot remember either of their names.

When Constance died, SHE bought lots of Rose bushes and planted them ALL in memory of HER mother. Several 'Gloire de Dijon' are growing along a fence, pretty Rose with beautiful foliage, she took time to put her toes down but is now established and growing happily.

SHE has 'Constance Spry' and others that SHE remembers names of are: 'Compassion, Jude The Obscure, Savoy Hotel, Margaret Merrill, Pristine', one of HER favourites and Royal William'.. too many to remember all of them.

And, yes of course, SHE has 'Peace', 'bred' in France, story of this Rose breeder is as dramatic as Rose is beautiful... so come along Springtime, WE like having big bowls of our own Roses at home and SHE lurves to give them away.. especially big bunches of 'Compassion', what a stunner she is, with her long stems and full-in-your-nose smell, the buds are Apricot-Pink, then she opens up into her full glory.. such a clever Rose.

WE are having a very quiet day at home, SHE had a 'disappointment' yesterday and had to telephone HER doctor, this means a trip to hospital, I do wish they would find out what is wrong.

BiBi dearest and SHE spoke of problem only yesterday.. today, after hearing what happened only half an hour after they parted in Kensington High Street, BiBi dearest was kind and sympathetic to HER on telephone, to have friend show affection and concern made HER wet eyed, more-so as SHE NEVER has it from HER own family?

NO, to be fair, HER cousin Bruce shows concern but from HER brother or HER two nieces, about whom I never write, do you wonder why Dear Reader? Nada, nichego, nichts, niente, nothing, rien, zilch..

Good thing friends..

SOMEONE'S AWAKE..

Yes, Dear Reader..

One of YOU is very WIDE awake.. drum roll please.. a little louder and longer than usual!

For Rosamund, from Germany, has correctly identified "Evening All" as coming from Television Series .. 'Dixon of Dock Green'.. He was a Policeman.. like Steph. She being a Bobbie was the clue..

Well done Ros..

Now, what about the rest of YOU? Uh, or are YOU jurst going to leave it to Gurls to be bright and speedy-quick with fingers on the keypads? Shame upon YOU guys, time to get those grey cells a'working.

Come along now.. chop chop.

"EVENING ALL"

Good afternoon to YOU Dear Reader..

As SHE is posting on MY Blog in middle of day, YOU know it has to be raining in deepest Knightsbridge, too wet to work in garden, otherwise SHE would be there pestering those poor old worms!

However, SHE has done what humans need to do and is now snugly-bugly under quilt, with everything WE need to be comfy, good light, books, iPad, charger, telephone and cup of MY favourite tea.. Lapsang, such good taste.

Now, which of YOU are up for memory game? These phrases came from television programmes, real people, plays, books and films. WE want YOU to identify who said it, and / or where the saying came from.

"Book him Dano: Stupid Boy: Elementary my dear Watson: Well, he would say that, wouldn't he?: Annus horibilus: Time to go: My kingdom for a horse: Play it Sam: The British are coming: We rob banks: Well, nobody's perfect:

In mid 70's SHE would cook a main course and invite friends, they would come bringing starter, pudding, maybe a cheese, bottles of whatever. Everyone was very competitive, trying to find weirdest films or speeches to take quotes from.. No prizes, jurst a lot of fun!

Why have I thought of this today? Well, I told YOU that SHE and I are taking trip 'up north' to see Debi, she has a neighbour called Stephanie, Debi calls her Steph. Steph wears blue uniform.. YOU can't have forgotten already?

Yes, she is one of the girls in blue.. which means she is in The Police Force.. They used to be called Bobbies or Peelers, did YOU know that and that they were named after Sir Robert Peel who started London's Metropolitan Police Force in 1829.

Back to the Memory Game, this will probably only be guessed by Dear Readers in UK, but who used to say "Evening all"? WE have given YOU a huge clue..

Kettle's on.. time for fresh tea. Byebye.

WHO WANTS A REDDY?

Dear Readers, please do not do that.. remember MY ears are very sensitive, jurst like Bat, I hear smallest noise.. but YOU lot live all over world, how come YOU all shout at same time?

Back to 'Who wants a Reddy'.. Heehee.. YOU do not get them for nothing. Oh no, three ways YOU could come to know answer to this question.

1. YOU could put brain into gear and work it out.

2. Answer will come to YOU in flash of brilliance.

3. YOU will guess answer.

Yes, for being of extraordinarily good humour this morning, I am giving YOU, Dear Reader, another chance to win rarest of things.. one of MY Tail Feathers.. aka a Reddy. But, I don't jurst give them away, oh INDEEDY no, YOU have to scratch head, do Fandango and come up with answer to question.. which is.. drum roll please.

How did I learn to speak Chicken and Duck?

You mean YOU did not know I was able to.. have YOU been asleep again? Really.. what is the point of ME beating Bird Brain to pulp if YOU are asleep, it really is TOO bad.. heehee.. come along now.. wake up!

All answers to be written in ENGLISH in Comments Box at end of this Post on MY Blog.

Moving swiftly along, too chilly to loiter... Listen up Dear Reader.. this is thrilling news.. HOT off stats list on MY Blog. WE have several NEW Dear Reader, TODAY on Stats are Lone Reader in Nederlands, Palestinian Territories, Sweden and Taiwan. Now YOU have to admit, the circulation of MY Blog is pretty amazing, is it not, considering it is written by African Grey Parrot and Human aka HER and all they want to do is make YOUR Facial muscles dance Fanfango and for YOU to have happy day..

How about that? Huh.. Are they really 'new' Readers or are they regular Readers out and about on jolly jaunt?

Whatever they are, it is splendid to see MY Blog winging way to new places. But before I leave subject of places.. WHAT happened to Dear Readers in Turkey? They disappeared several weeks ago, I wonder if Turkish Dear Readers were of different nationality and went back to where they came from?

And Russia, only ONE Dear Reader reading MY Blog in Russia today, MOST strange, Normally LOTS of Russians doing Fandango with Facial muscles, I hope MY Russian Readers .. oh, they may be busy, probably busy, work time in Russia.

First time WE have had any Readers from these new countries, WE welcome them and say WE hope they have splendidly strong tumtum muscles and lots of breath and their faces get used to doing Fandango Dance.. Read all MY Blog posts then YOU, NEW Dear Reader, will be up to speed on all these things and know Blog Lingo.. necessary as I am not YOUR usual Blog writer. In fact nothing usual about ME or HER.. SHE is most certainly unusual and so is our home.

Oh, no INDEEDY and other Dear Readers will tell YOU that MY aim is to make YOU have very sore tumtum muscles and be short of breath from laughing.. and enjoying self, please spread word of MY Blog, WE, yes it is WE, because although I am the Blogger, it has to be put onto the web by HER.. MY very special Human with whom I live, have to stick wing up and say I LURVE HER, We have been together nearly eight years. Happy years..

WE have NO ulterior motive for asking YOU to spread word of MY Blog, I am not trying to sell YOU dodgy items for tiny or vast sums of money, all I want is to make people happy..

AND.. let us say it loud and clear Dear Readers so that they can hear it in every country where NEW Dear Reader lives.. Fit and toned muscles keep everything up.. oh yes, indeedy they do.

So remember YOU lot, if YOU want to win a Reddy, YOU have to enter completion, got to be in it to win it.. so off YOU all go and scratch head and think of answer to question..

How did I learn how to speak Chicken and Duck.

"Have a nice day"..
